Max Payne 3 is alive, new screenshots released

After nearly two years without any new details, Rockstar’s decided to come out of the shadows regarding the development of Max Payne 3.
The studio has released two brand new screenshots of the game with the following messgae:

He’s coming.

The screens show a bruised and troubled Max Payne, unlike we’ve seen him in the previous games. A completely new look might prove to be a double-edged sword, with many fans of the series finding it hard to relate to him, atleast for now.

We hope the game lives upto its predecessor’s standards and all of us are in for a ride.
Max Payne 3 is in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and is slated to release sometime in 2012.
